In 1982 the owner and a business partner of United Steel Works Inc.,purchased the Rebar Division of Gulf Steel Inc. which was located in St. Petersburg and started Bar-Fab of Florida Inc.
Bar-Fab of Florida Inc. was founded in 1982, and based in Clearwater, Florida. Over the next two decades, Bar - Fab of Florida Inc., continued to expand and to date has more than 30 fulltime employees, 3 installation crews and a state of the art 20,000sf fabrication facility. During this time of growth, Bar- Fab of Florida Inc.,developed and maintained many long lasting relationships with local contractors. Many of these relationships are still in place today.
